SustainE People: Fostering Inclusion is a volume of the SustainE Book Series that explores the challenges and opportunities of promoting social, economic, and political inclusion and gender equality for all people, with a focus on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 5: Gender Equality and 10: Reduced Inequalities. This book series aims to identify best practices, innovative solutions, and theoretical frameworks that can support efforts to foster inclusion, reduce inequalities, and advance gender equality at regional and global levels.
Scope:
This volume welcomes submissions in various formats, including theoretical and empirical research, case studies, reviews, and opinion pieces that address one or more of the following topics:
- Theoretical perspectives on inclusion, gender equality, and inequality reduction
- The role of public policy and governance in promoting inclusion, gender equality, and reducing inequalities
- Inclusive approaches to economic growth, job creation, and poverty reduction that promote gender equality and inclusion
- Addressing discrimination, exclusion, and gender-based violence based on gender, ethnicity, religion, and other factors
- Promoting diversity, equity, and social justice in education, healthcare, and other public services for women and marginalised groups
- Community-based initiatives and social entrepreneurship for inclusion, gender equality, and inequality reduction
- Innovative financing mechanisms for reducing inequalities, fostering inclusion and advancing gender equality
- Evaluating the effectiveness of existing programs and policies for inclusion, gender equality, and inequality reduction All other topics relating to SDGs 5 and 10 are welcomed.

Deadlines
Submissions to our SustainE Book Series are accepted on a rolling basis, with no set deadlines for submissions. We review all submissions promptly after receipt and aim to publish accepted manuscripts in a timely manner. We publish an annual volume for each calendar year, with a dedicated ISSN and ISBN for each volume. By accepting submissions on a rolling basis, we aim to provide an efficient and timely means of disseminating the latest research in sustainability and encourage researchers and practitioners to submit their work to us throughout the year.
This volume of the SustainE Book Series can contribute significantly to the global effort to achieve SDGs 5 and 10 and to foster a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable world for all. We welcome submissions from researchers and practitioners from diverse backgrounds and disciplines and look forward to publishing cutting-edge research and insights that address today’s complex challenges.
