Sarah Iqbal

Sarah Iqbal is a Research Manager at the George Institute for Global Health, India, where she supports researchers in navigating funding requirements and publication policies. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, India, and briefly worked as a postdoctoral fellow before moving into research administration. Recently, she took on the role of Knowledge Manager for the NIHR Global Health Research Centre for Non-Communicable Diseases and Environmental Change—a four-country collaboration among institutes in India, the UK, Bangladesh, and Indonesia. In this role, Sarah fosters knowledge exchange across the Centre and is exploring innovative methods to share information with both the public and the global scientific community. Her passion lies in reshaping dissemination practices to amplify research impact. She participated in the Alexander Von Humboldt Foundation’s Residency Program in 2024.
